WatchGuard's Firebox M500 firewall continues streak of industry recognition for its ability to inspect encrypted traffic 149 percent faster than competing solutions

RSA Conference, SAN FRANCISCO - April 20, 2015 - WatchGuard Technologies, a global leader in multi-function security appliances, , today announced that Cyber Defense Magazine, one of the industry's leading electronic information security magazines and media partner at this year's RSA Conference, has named the Firebox M500 2015's Most Innovative Firewall and Virtual Private Network Appliance. In addition, WatchGuard Dimension, the company's security visibility solution, was selected as the Cutting Edge Security Information Event Management (SIEM) Solution for 2015. These awards, which are reviewed and judged by leading independent information security experts, identify the most relevant technologies that help advance information security.
