WatchGuard Unveils Enhanced Managed Security Services Program

WatchGuard Technologies, a global leader of business security solutions, today launched the WatchGuard Managed Security Services Program (MSSP) to partners worldwide. This program allows businesses to reduce IT operation costs while increasing network, application and data protection.

At the center of the WatchGuard Managed Security Services Program are new remote management security features integrated into WatchGuard's new Fireware XTM-based multifunction security appliances. With it, WatchGuard partners can proactively manage, monitor and mitigate security risks for thousands of customers regardless of their location.

Additionally, WatchGuard security services can be dynamically changed to meet most any business need or environment. For example, WatchGuard MSSP channel partners can provide any combination of advanced firewall, intrusion prevention, secure virtual private networking for remote workers, web blocking and URL filtering services, spam protection, anti-virus, and more. This builds a solid foundation for partners to build upon and provide additional services, such as event monitoring, penetration testing, compliance management for PCI DSS, HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley or other security services.
